Dude.... You really need to fix that keyboard..
I'm guessing that since you didn't get the last joke you won't get this one either - huh comrade?
You should be nice to me. I'm one of the few Americans that understand Putin's point of view.
What would happen in the Ukraine if the Russians didn't get involved with the Crimeans and Russian separatists?
I'm thinking that since what was happening in the Ukraine (getting rid of one crook and replacing them with another one) was also creating a split along ethnic lines. LOL WHat is it with you white folk in Eastern Euroland? You ain't got any of us not and not so whites to shoot at so you start finding things amongst yourselves to hate? And it was heading that way fast.
And Vlad, The Godfather, Putin knew that eventually things would get to that point. It would be Yugoslavia all over again. And if that happened where would all the displaced Russians(?) from the Ukraine go? Sure some would go to L.A., but most would wind up in the Russian Federation as refugees. That wouldn't be good for their economy or their crime stats either. That and the inevitable resistance movements that would spring up on Russian soil that the Russian Gov - Putin's Mob - wouldn't be able to handle. And what would these resistance groups do to fund their operations? Sell dope to the locals. That or something like it.
And then they'd corrupt officials to look the other way while they did that and after a while, they'll forget about taking back the Ukraine and focus on making the money...eventually taking out each other and anyone stupid enough to get in the way.
You think Chechnya is bad? LOL let THAT happen. You Russians would forget all about those nutcases down there if all that were to happen. And I think that was a very real possibility of how thing's could've played out.
The whole Ukraine ordeal is actually a Lose lose deal for Putin. And I think that he thinks the actions he took was the lesser of two evils for him.
The thing I don't get in all this is The Crimeans. They had a shot of making their own destiny and they pissed that off joining the Russians. Now instead of Ukraine Thugs telling them what to do, it'll be the mob guys from Moscow telling them what to do. They may as well have joined IS
Oh I dunno. I never hear of American Gangsters stealing Russian Credit Card numbers.....
Not through here.....
Our AKs are better than yours. So's our Vodka.
AND our cars..... And that's sad when an American can claim that their cars are better than someone else's.
I used to work in the environmental remediation field. Know what that is? A garbage man for Radioactive and biological waste. I got to help get rid of some of the byproducts from some of those nukes y'all were pointing at us. No not the actual missile. Mostly the stuff in the silos where the warheads that were leaking got contaminated. Good thing you didn't need to launch them. And a good thing people from that dying continent came in and cleaned that up for you too. Yeah. Talk about a cluster F^^^ mess. That's probably why we're dying. You welcome bro.
And don't be so smug about that space station either. Admit it. You only let us up there so we can fix it for you. The only reason we haven't got one ourselves yet is cause NASA is trying to determine the amount of illegal aliens it would take to build it and design a truck fast enough to take them up there.
Yeah... if Russians are so smart, why do they spell USSR CCCP? And who the hell taught y'all to spell RUSSIA as USSR? A person with dyslexia?
Putin.... He needs to move up. Leader of Russia? C'mon man! That's like convenience store manager in the world of politics. He needs to move up to the major leagues. I'm thinking Texas Senator. Most of Texas loves the guy. How can we not? He's a homophobic religious nut that likes to kill things and he can't stand Obama! And we're a one party state that thinks an armed society is a polite society so we're a perfect match! Plus, him and George Jr. are still playmates. And I bet Putin is a big Ted Nugent fan too. He said Houston was his favorite city. I don't know why. The only thing for tourists here are strip clubs and cheap drugs.
Yeah Yeah, Vladimir Putin: Texas Senator. Has a nice ring to it...Then again if that happened, he'd want to take back the parts of New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming we gave to the US when entering the Republic.
I personally do not recommend garlic for a number of reasons. There are some studies that show that garlic can actually cause damage to brain cells.
That's probably not one of your reasons......
Sorry. I just couldn't resist that.
I've also heard that garlic isn't good for you. But I'm thinking you'd have to eat it by the bushel.
We have mosquitoes here pretty bad. A lot of people eat garlic claiming that it's a natural bug repellent.
I don't know about all that, but it does make for a pretty good people repellent.
A clove a day keeps the neighbors away.
.....There are some studies that show that garlic can actually cause damage to brain cells.
LOL Not if you can do it yourself faster!
Still no numbers. I've been to all sorts of sites. I can get guesstimates, but not actual numbers. Why just guesstimates?
Again you go on about all this info on drone strikes, the info is easy as pie to get. But not these numbers. And you should be interested in this. This along with other crap that's going on will eventually lead to our next civil war. You really don't have a clue with what's going on here in this country.
Again this info is just too easy to get too. And boring. And you know every time I back tracked your sources I came up with a dead end or an incredible amount of BS. I still remember that post about some "un named source" going off about a high level conversation between the Saudi King and Putin with only a couple of people in the room. Remember that one? I spotted the BS in less than a paragraph. Then there was the youtube video, That loser, the so-called Expert, had to be coached what to say and you could watch the idiot's eyes scroll the entire time he was babbling on about what he knew. Yeah you can get all the access to that crap all you want.
Not like the Obamacare numbers I've been looking for.
It totally amazes me that we can get all this access to half baked propaganda and twisted "news" about
alleged top level government conspiracies, yet I can't find out about who pays for their healthcare.
I'm telling you cousin, that's the golden egg of conspiracies right there.
You should really reconsider what you consider a SEP cousin
"Obamacare rates as an SEP. As in, don't care, not my problem...........
An SEP is Someone Else's Problem. Yeah, it's a joke and another device to seperate you from $, cus $ are really important."
You're not looking at it the right way.
You spout off all this half baked conspiracy stuff like it's gospel. Good for you. People gotta have a hobby. Here's the thing. Look at how easy you get this info. I can get the same info. I'm not going to argue the validity of this information. Just acknowledge that info is out there for the getting. Am I wrong here? OK. Well if the evil five eyed monstrosity somehow allows us access to this stuff, then why in the hell are they making it impossible to find out a simple question about Obamacare?
As much as you like to look for things that go Bump in the night, the darker side of a story and whatnot, I throw you a really big bone here and you run from it when you should be humping my leg in appreciation. Don't you think it's a little bit interesting how those numbers are almost impossible to get? Especially when with just a little digging, you can get pretty much whatever you want on US gov from infowars or a whole host of other websites. Try finding out how many people paid more than one month on their health insurance.
My wife had a VW fox when we first got married....Kept that car and sold the Ranchero...
Yeah, Scawen. Screw the chick car. Make a Ranchero. Trust me, it's a much more fun car (truck) to drive.
And you know every so often someone starts up a thread about that damned car. We need to have a rule where if a person starts a thread about the scirrocco, then they get penalized 10 seconds for the next 100 laps they run or something.
"Now I have to go lay down for the rest of the day to come down off this cocktail of drugs."
eh... just puke it up, drink some coffee and do it again. You'll be fine - unless it's bath salts.
Obamacare rates as an SEP. As in, don't care, not my problem...........
An SEP is Someone Else's Problem. Yeah, it's a joke and another device to seperate you from $, cus $ are really important.
You been burnt by Switzerland doing the raised middle finger to the EU ? We've had companies go under here already and that's just because they couldn't see the 3 year delayed train wreak approaching.
Reason, EU is about to do 'quantative easing' as the U.S. has done for a while now. I.E. Print money till the books balance, problem, Switzerland would need to do the same to keep parity, locked to EU exchange rate etc, chose FU, rather than EU, result, companies go bust who are responsible and don't rip off shareholders. Long term, many more comp's go bust but take more down with them cus these comp's chose to extract the last $ before sinking.......
There, how's that for ripping on the whole economic system with a great theory ?
Yeah, I didn't think you could figure it out, but it was worth a shot. I'll get them numbers somehow.
I think in 2016, when we get our regime change, I'll get a better clue on that by watching to see how fast the next bunch of crooks scuttle it.
In the world, so nice to see Kevin Vickers get Canadian ambassador to Ireland.
Some things work.
AAnt
And this is right how? Sometimes people get made ambassadors because they screwed up, other times, it's a reward for bringing in the bucks during the election or something. And of course sometimes people are put off on embassies because they're considered some threat to some other politician within the party.
What's the story on Mr. Vickers? - nevermind. Google knows all. So it's a reward. Yeah he deserves it.
A genuine bad ass. LOL With the way things are going these days, you sure y'all don't want to keep him around?
Ireland looks pretty in pictures. And they got pretty good Whiskey. Good for him
Speaking with CNN, freelance journalist Mohammed al-Kibsi stated that Abdulmutallab lived in the same apartment as shooting suspect Said Kouachi prior to his failed airline bombing attempt in December 0f 2009.
The pair were reportedly roommates for around two weeks while attending the al-Tabari school, where Kouachi and Abdulmutallab prayed together frequently.
The startling revelation raises numerous questions in regards to France’s alleged inability to stop the Paris shooting, given not only Kouachi’s clear ties to terrorist groups, but Adbulmutallab’s ties to Western intelligence as well.
Following the failed Christmas day bombing in 2009, it was learned that Abdulmutallab had been allowed on the Detroit-bound plane despite having no passport and being on a terror watch list.
Incredibly, reports revealed that the underwear bombing plot had been orchestrated by none other than Anwar al-Awlaki, the FBI and CIA asset who also met with Paris shooting suspect Said Kouachi in 2011.
Al-Awlaki made headlines in 2010 after it was learned that he had visited the Pentagon only months after 9/11 for a secret dinner with high ranking military officials.
How about digging through a conspiracy that makes sense for a change? I got one for you. Why don't you find out something for me. And this is another jab you can take at America too.
I want to know out of all the people that signed up for Obamacare, how many are actually paying the premiums.
They brag about how many people they got (forced) to sign up. Seeing as how under Obamacare medical insurance is the same if not more, I don't think many people are actually paying the premiums.
But it's easier for me to find out how many abortions are performed than any info on people paying the monthly premiums for insurance. I don't think as nearly as many people that signed up are actually paying and I think they're trying real hard to bury those numbers.
Find those numbers.
If you want to go fast, get a Honda. If you want to go faster, get a Suzuki. If you want to go fast again tomorrow? Stick with the Honda.
If we're talking 600-class supersports, I'd argue they're currently all about the same, such was the pace of development in the last 20 years.
At the track, Suzukis are popular because they tend to be cheaper, easier to work on, and have slightly more horsepower throughout the rev range. Yamahas are popular because they tend to have the best handling. Hondas are notorious for being difficult to work on and fragile (especially the forks), but also for being more user friendly (easier/less work to go fast up to a point). Kawasakis don't generally have the best reputation and I'm not sure why. Perhaps it was because they were generally the heaviest, although that may have changed with the most recent generation.
Mostly though, these are minuscule differences that racers tend to exaggerate when talking about them.
Yeah actually I reworded it a little. It was if you want go fast get Japanese... go faster Italian... You get the idea.
But apparently what you say about 600cc bikes in Racing is the same in regular rider preference. I don't know much about the sport bike scene. But from What I see it's almost just like that. Is that why you like Suzukis? Because of overall bang for your buck?
ROFL know why suzukis are so much easier to work on than Hondas? Cause after working on the Suzi enough times, you sorta get the feel of where everything's at.
Yeah, Hondas can be a pain. Out of my two, the suzuki is way easier to work on - except syncing the carbs. Just they cram as much crap as they could up under the front of the gas tank But also, I work on it more often. THe Honda is a frigging tank.
I don't know much about Kawasakis, I do know that their ltd line of bikes back in the 80's had decent motors. And there's just something about the 1100. My friend's ninja sucked. He bought the bike from someone that didn't take care of it and neither did he.
One thing I hate about japanese bikes are the quality of screws they use in critical areas. I had to do some work on my carbs a while back. The hardest part of the whole thing was fighting to keep from stripping out a screw head.
"Mostly though, these are minuscule differences that racers tend to exaggerate when talking about them."
What fun would it be if they didn't? The bike you ride should always be better than the bike someone else rides....
After starting issues and 4 attempts at the valve clearances, she's back!
You switched the head light too? Yeah. I can see the shocks better. in the other picture, It sorta looked like a chrome plated rod. I think the tear drop tank actually works well with the overall look too.
I have headlight problems with my suzuki. Wanna know where I get the bulbs? (pay attention forbin, this'll blow your mind) I get the bulbs from Home Depot. You have something like that in the UK? It's a home and garden place. Anyways, I buy these $12.00 set of lawn lights, break two apart and snag the bulbs out.
That's the high beam. The low beam is a driving light bought from an auto parts store. I'm wanting to re modify that and replace that with xenon bulbs, but I haven't had the time to compare amps of the bulbs to amps put out as well as make a housing. I don't know how to describe what I have now. Let's just say it could stand improvement.
... a hardtail cafe racer... It would look cool, but hurt to ride...
Never had to buy bulbs from a home store haha, it's the same headlight just better bulbs and yellow film over it
You know, I keep looking at your new bike..."new". I started looking at the "before" the old bike. And I got to thinking. Who did they market that for? My first real bike was a 250cc bike it was also cruiser style. I didn't buy it for that. I bought it cause it was what I could afford. When you look at your bike, the before (what the industry hacks put out) and yours, the after, which style do you think would be a better seller in a dealership for a bike that size? I do notice that Yamaha is sort of catching on to this with the 400 cc retro bike they're selling. LOL They're 650 twin is a legend and they want to rehash this motor. I dunno. I remember when that retro bike wasn't a retro bike. It wasn't a very good bike compared to the other bikes. But what do I know? I'm totally convinced God makes Hondas.
If you want to go fast, get a Honda. If you want to go faster, get a Suzuki. If you want to go fast again tomorrow? Stick with the Honda.

I like to refer to this as correcting cruiser ergos. Who thought having the rider's feet out in front rather than directly under was a good idea?
Don't knock it til you've tried it. Forward controls on a lowered frame gives you a whole new perspective on things. Besides sitting like a wide receiver in a prison movie gets mighty uncomfortable after a while.
Just outta curiosity Omar, did you scavenge anything off of a dirt-bike for this project? My mechanic builds quite a few and they use me to draw up brackets and graphics here and there, mostly for brakes. A couple of bikes had dirt bike forks and shocks.
I have heard about that, even tried it, and sure, I can verify that too, but I do not like Whiskey at all... Only strong booze what I use is Absinthe. ( In some drinks Jagermeister lol )
I have to add:
If your coughing have started suddenly to increase, try to remove the snot'n blot from your throat to spit it out. Look the colour. If it is dark red and brown mixed color, it is ready to take it off. Eat little garlic, not much needed ( sure you can eat as much as you want though lol ). Breathing is easier and relaviting and you soon start to think in mind that this flu is VTEC just kicked in 'yo!
EDIT: You do not need to eat btw your garlic storage empty. Just 2-4 will do just fine
EDIT THE EDIT: I also think that the original cause of flu varies and makes the difference. There are so many viruses, so one thing can work to other and so on. Though this is only a theory.
Absinthe? Yuck! That's like the Bath Salts of Booze. But drink enough and you could care less if you have the flu.
What I like to do with the flu is spread it to people I don't like. Now THAT makes me feel better.
Here's Bill O'Reilly on the topic......
http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2014/dec/04/bill-oreilly/bill-oreilly-cites-faulty-data-claim-about-shootin/
O’Reilly said on his Dec. 1, 2014, Fox News program. the rate of black Americans killed by police has dropped 70 percent. In 2012, 123 African-Americans were shot dead by police. There are currently more than 43 million blacks living in the U.S.A. Same year, 326 whites were killed by police bullets. Those are the latest stats available."
....oreilly-cites-faulty-data-claim.....
ROFL LOL that's all there is from both side of the issue. Faulty data and they run with it. Faulty data makes for better news stories which means more viewers which means advertiser money. And that's what counts in journalism. Not unbiased reporting. Not objectivity. Nope. None of that. Selling advertising.
Fox news and MSNBC are masters at misleading. What they'll do to slant a story is almost criminal.
Please don't ask for an example. There's so many out there, it would take a week to decide which one to use.
wait.... From your very own post... BTW "FOX" is the right wing liars and MSNBC is the left wing liars.
"the rate of black Americans killed by police... (read above)... In 2012, 123 African-Americans were shot dead by police. There are currently more than 43 million blacks living in the U.S.A. Same year, 326 whites were killed by police bullets. Those are the latest stats available."....
latest stats. Really? This is the US of Freaking A we're talking about here. We have all KINDS of stats.
Like what about the number of UNARMED people shot. People shot while already under arrest? What is the ratio there? You can google that if you want. It's out there somewhere. Only you won't sell much advertising space using those stats while trying to pander to a right-wing audience.
Which is also why MSNBC glosses over the initial actions that lead to the un-armed person being shot.
Tree hugging gun grabbers tend to tune out when the forces of law and order are actually right for a change.
Yeah, the other day I was watching CNN and it's coverage of the Ferguson riots. That got boring...
Racism
I find an American exceptionally smart when he finally notices american television is crap and manipulated, so agree with cargame.nl!
False equivalence. Stories like this are trotted out by white supremacists and racism-deniers alike as a means to silence discussions on privilege, racial power dynamics, and abuses of police power.
Yes, it's sad Lion (and I'm sure many like him before and since) was killed, but there's a big difference between a robber shooting someone and a police officer (or in the case of Martin's killer, a neighborhood watchman) doing the same. Should we not hold the latter to a higher standard of conduct?
More details here:
"It is true that the Marley Lion case received little news coverage outside the Charleston area, but the comparison to the Trayvon Martin case is something of a false equivalency. In the Trayvon Martin case, there was never any doubt as to the identity of his killer (George Zimmerman), yet several weeks elapsed before the shooter was charged with a crime and taken into custody — a fact which created controversy and fostered the public perception (correct or not) that the case would never have been adjudicated had it not been widely publicized in the media, and that the race of the victim was a significant issue in the decision about whether to prosecute the shooter (as well as an element of the crime itself). In the
Marley Lion case, the identity of the killer(s) was initially unknown until likely suspects were determined through police investigation; once those suspects were identified, they were promptly arrested and charged with a multiplicity of crimes, hence Lion's murder was never associated with a public perception of "justice denied" or the suggestion that his race was an element of either the commission or prosecution of his killing.
(Source: http://www.snopes.com/politics/crime/marleylion.asp)[/quote]
The whole problem with the Martin/Zimmerman case was everyone wanted to make it a race related issue. It wasn't. It wasn't even close to being that. First off, Zimmerman wasn't exactly White. He was more like me....Sorta white. (The True MASTER RACE: THE DREADED HYBRID MONGREL MUHAHAHAH... Hmmmm An "Antique Off-White Supremacist? can I do that?)
I think this was a case of two wannabes mixing it up. Zimmerman, wanting to be a super hero and Martin wanting to be an OG. Neither one was either, but they liked to think they were. I think that Zimmerman initially started Hassling Martin. He was part of a neighborhood watch and Martin didn't look like a local.
He wasn't. He was just cutting through the neighborhood. I think Zimmerman initiated everything by trying to come off as a tough guy. Since Zimmerman wasn't any sort of cop or anything, Martin rightly decided he didn't have to take anything off of this clown. Things got heated, they got to fighting and Martin kicked Zimmerman's butt. Wolverine couldn't handle that so he whipped out his gun and blew Martin away. But all that got completely glossed over, the prosecutor was borderline incompetent and the court in general allowed the case to be transformed from a simple act of manslaughter to some media circus racial summit showdown. The reporting on the court case barely had anything to do with the real crime. Just about all the witnesses in the case, the actual case, couldn't seem to decide what it was they did or didn't see so Zimmerman walked. And again, the media completely glossed over that and kept up with the Black Vs White ratings gravytrain.
Yeah Forbin after watching a bunch of idiots babble on and on about a bunch of other idiots that were catching stuff on fire for about an hour and a half, it got boring.
And Jon Stewart is a whiner. I like how the privileged can get on their little moral soap boxes and spout off like they know what they're saying. I wonder who wrote that for him? It's almost as pathetic as the mindless herds that feed on those words as some sort of Gospel.
Johnny Stewart. The liberal equivalent to Rush Limbaugh... only a little funnier and addicted to different drugs.
Ah.... wouldn't they be African-British in London rather than African-American?
Realistically, wouldn't they simply be "British"? Why does "Black" === "African"? African American isn't really accurate, it's just people being hesitant of calling someone "Black".
Uhhh.... the term "African American" was coined by ..."Black Americans" as a way to identify themselves with a nice ethnic twang, Like Japanese-American, Italian-American. Not people hesitant to use the word Black. To be honest it's a complicated bunch of nonsense. Obama is referred as the first Black President. Not the first African-American President. We have Black people., Not African American people. We have African-American institutions and events. Not Black institutions and events. Does that make any sense? No. Of course not. But that's how it works.
Racism... We're a multi racial family of racists. We hate you all. Especially if you're a family member.
Uh the real reason for the thread was pointing out that UK police don't usually carry guns (I'll NEVER understand any of that but that's y'all's thing) And the protesters were yelling to them not to shoot. And even though they may have been using the Brown case as a spring board to bring to light their own police/minority problems, I just couldn't get over the complete irony of it.
As far as the police problem (?) here? It depends where you live. It depends on the police department.
You have a neighborhood full of bad asses and a police department full of hot heads, you're going to see a lot more violence with cops than in some lily white cul de sac with a private security service.
The media here manipulates this to no end. If you pay attention, they report things and have these certain words and phrases used and spoken in a certain tone. They also gloss over key facts and highlight other elements and that totally misleads the viewer/reader. We've had unarmed white folks getting shot, tased and beat on. If anything, these incidents get about five minutes of airtime in comparison.
Yeah, the other day I was watching CNN and it's coverage of the Ferguson riots. That got boring, so I watched a hockey game. Yeah, the irony...
After the game I switched back to CNN to see if any more buildings burned down or if the rioters actually went after the people that set them off instead of the innocent bystanders.
Anyways, The idiots at CNN were talking about how this event was viewed by the rest of the world (like who really cares - right?) and they were showing footage in London of...Ferguson protesters. Yeah these pin heads were facing off with the UKPD and saying "Hands up. Don't Shoot"... to London cops. London Cops?
So I got to wondering.... Exactly, How many unarmed African American males have been shot by London police?
Hi.
A few weeks ago I saw a car race. It was a GT series in Atlanta. The prototype class had this car in it that looked like something darth vader drove. http://www.deltawingracing.com/
I don't know why I bothered with the link. Most a you probably know what this car looks like already.
Well my question concerning this car and LFS is how would, if such a car was to be modeled in LFS, how would the front wheels work?
I remember years ago Scawen stating that the MRTs, the LX's and the other open wheelers wasn't truly open wheeled. THat you couldn't lock up wheels with other cars in races. Which made me think of the cars as being basically rectangular. If this car or something like it was modeled would the car still be a basic rectangle? And if so, would the front wheels on the car be where they were being represented? Man, I hope that made sense...
I don't really care for this particular car one way or the other. I'm just wondering how a vehicle with this type of geometry would work out in LFS
